We process personal data from our students and their families and / or legal representatives in addition to candidates, employees, suppliers, contractors, prospective customers and third parties interested in finding out more about Gurilandia.

HOW WE COLLECT AND PROCESS PERSONAL DATA
Generally, the personal data used by Gurilandia are provided directly by the holders themselves.
It is essential that the data subject expressly consents to the use of his data and is previously informed of the purposes for which Gurilandia intends to use his personal information.

LAWFUL BASIS TO PROCESS YOUR DATA
1. Execution of a contractual relationship of which the interested party is part: Student admission and enrolment, provision of educational, academic, nursing, safeguarding and related services as well as sending communications related to educational activity as well as administrative and billing management necessary for the provision of the aforementioned services;
2. Compliance with our legal obligations: We must manage and store students’ parents and providers records as well as to attend requirements from the relevant competent authorities, in addition to the filing of legal actions;
3. Our legitimate interest: We may need to have statistical information from our Gurilandia School, as well as to carry out satisfaction surveys to modify in the operation of our Schools and to promote our activities by sending commercial communications (in addition to your consent);
4. Your consent: We may need the consent of parents / legal guardian, or of the student over legal age to send commercial communications as well as taking and use images and videos to disseminate the student's participation in our activities, or for promotional campaigns.

PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA
Gurilandia collects and processes students and parents’ information when necessary to:
- Attend your enquiries properly;
- Ensure that the student meets the school’s admission criteria;
- Provide educational services including the support of pupil learning, monitor and report on pupil progress;
- Dispense to the students welfare and care services;
- Manage Gurilândia International School’s units;
- Provide medical and nurse attention, meals, among other necessary services;
- Meet the educational, social, physical and emotional requirements of the student;
- Enable parents and / or legal tutors to be contacted in the case of emergency or in the case of school closure, and to keep them informed about the child’s educational progress or about school events, etc.;
- Support the online students’ area;
- Share the students’ image in the school’s media under parents’ o legal tutors’ consent. With the aim to keep a record of the child in Gurilandia, we may take photographs and recorded images to be shared in, school website and social networks; In addition, if expressly authorised by parents or legal tutors, such images can be also shared in Inspired Education Group’s social media too.
- Send commercial communications if previously authorised by you. You will be able to unsubscribe from the receipt of commercial communications by clicking in the “unsubscribe” section found in all these kinds of e-mails sent by the school.
If you want to send us your CV through the section “Careers”, you will have to create an account to make use of the employment platform and to send us your employment application. Your information will be shared with Inspired Education Group as the owner of the platform Global Careers Site in the terms exposed at: https://careers.inspirededu.com/data-privacy-statement and incorporated in the files owned by Gurilandia. Our Human Resources department will process your data with the purpose to include your candidacy in our selection processes.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
In general, the personal data provided to Gurilandia will be used internally by Gurilandia's employees for the provision of educational services and for institutional purposes.
However, in some situations, it is possible that Gurilandia needs to share your data with third parties, including, but not limited to, providers that supply essential services to Gurilandia, such as:
• Government authorities;
• Consultants (accountants, auditors, lawyers);
• Suppliers of technological tools and software necessary to provide our services; It is

Gurilandia only stores your personal data for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. In this sense, they can be kept: (a) For the time required by legal or regulatory obligations; (b) Until the end of the processing of personal data; or (c) For the time necessary to preserve the exercise of Gurilandia 's rights (such as, for example, during applicable statute of limitations).
The end of data processing will occur when: (a) It is verified that the purpose for which the data were collected has been achieved and that the personal data collected is no longer necessary or relevant to achieve this purpose; (b) The Data Subject's consent is revoked; (c) The relationship between Gurilandia and the Holder ends; or (d) By legal or regulatory determination.
